To be who we are, there is a lifetime of events, insignificant and monumental, that shape us into who we become. That's how, today, I am a fulfilled woman who achieved what she always dreamed of, living abroad and practicing my profession with mastery. I was born and raised in the north of Minas Gerais, Brazil, where I lived with my parents as the youngest of 7 siblings. My parents lived from their crops, but unfortunately, they faced many challenges with drought and poor soils. As I grew up, I knew that if I wanted a better future, I needed to look for it away from home.
